Design is about form and color, lines and surfaces. Have in mind, that just as important as designing the individual part of the design, is to design the distances and the space between these parts. Like in music, a piece consists of tones but also the pauses in between. Be generous with form between the forms, the negative space, the pauses that creates reflection and rhythm. As in music to the tones without well thought placed spacing becomes uninteresting.
Designa mellanrummen, luften, de vita ytorna, formerna mellan formerna. Design handlar om form och färg, linjer och ytor. Lika viktigt som objekten eller grafiken man designar är avstånden och luften mellan delarna. Liksom musik där musikstycket utgörs av toner men också pausen emellan. Var generös med luft och vita ytor, mellanrummen som skapar paus, eftertanke och rytmen. Liksom i musiken blir tonerna utan genomtänkta mellanrum ointressant.
